Contacted their support several times and I must agree with you that their customer support is excellent, fast on responding my questions, and more importantly handle all problems really fast. I haven't tried their phone line support since I live outside the US, too expensive to call them :) Their price, though it's cheap enough is quite common in my book since, as you said, we can get similar prices from other providers. I rated 4 for the prices while for other categories I rate them at 5. If you need a real deal and top notch web hosting service, then you can't go wrong with hostgator.
